RECENT AND UPCOMING EVENTS

On May 28, 2024, I will be presenting a talk entitled "Schur-Weyl Duality for Classical Toroidal Algebras" at the "Representation Theory and Related Geometry: Progress and Prospects" conference at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA (on occasion of Daniel K. Nakano's 60th birthday). This is work partially funded by the American Institute of Mathematics "SQuaRE" program.

In June 2022, I spoke at the 23rd Biennial Conference of the Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences. My talk was about the nature of reasoning in mathematics, theology, and philosophy.

In June 2019, I presented a talk titled "Bosonic and Fermionic Free Field Representations of Various Lie Algebras" at the 13th International Workshop of Lie Theory and Its Applications in Physics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Varna, Bulgaria.

In January 2019, I attended the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) in Baltimore. At the JMM, I co-organized an AMS Special Session on the Mathematics of Gravity and Light, a session which grew out of my participation in the AMS's Mathematics Research Community (MRC) about the same topic. At the same conference, I presented some of my own research about twisted toroidal Lie algebras.

In June 2018, I presented some of my research results at the 32nd International Colloquium on Group Theoretical Methods in Physics (Group32) held at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.
