Job postings and opportunities can be posted by anyone, no account required!
Fill in as many relevant details as possible so your submission shows up in filtered searches.
For individual postings, the salary or pay range is required information. This transparency promotes trust and pay equity, and empowers everyone in the sector.
All new posts will be reviewed and approved by our moderators before they appear on the job board. Please note that at our current volunteer capacity, moderator approval of submitted resources may take up to three days, although we try to review them much sooner.
CHAACo does not field applications or inquiries on your behalf. Be sure to direct applicants to your own website and contact information.
This job board is accessible to the general public. We encourage you to add a link to your own website and to share application instructions there, and not to list personal contact information through our form.
If you don't have a website and need to list contact information, we recommend including an email address in the How to Apply text field, written as follows to give it a layer of protection from automated data skimming:
username [at] domain [dot] org
We use several fields to help make location data searchable, flexible, and precise. Please help us keep them consistently useful by using them this way:
For individual job postings, use the Work Site field to indicate what kind of workplace and travel requirements the candidates can expect.
If your posting applies to a single physical location as the only or main work site:
Fill in City, State/Province/Territory (US or Canada), and Country.
If you have entered the "United States," the Region tag field appears; add the applicable region(s).
Geographic Scope is optional.
If your posting applies to a broader region or multiple sites:
The most important field to fill in is Geographic Scope. Write in a description of the applicable area.
Omit any location fields that do not seem applicable to your scope.
Fill in the (US) Region field if you entered Country: "United States".
If your job has a physical site but you will consider candidates who can work remotely:
List the physical location as above.
Also use the Work Site field to include "off-site" and/or "hybrid".
You can also mention the remote work option in Geographic Scope, if desired. (Pay attention to work eligibility requirements for international employees!)
Examples:
The location for an in-person job at one site in Denver would be:
Work Site Type: In person- on employer's site
City: Denver
State/Province/Territory (US or Canada): Colorado
Country: United States
Region: Mountain West
Geographic Scope: [ok to leave blank]
The location for a job board for a professional association that mainly serves members in the United States and Canada could be:
City: [blank]
State/Province/Territory (US or Canada): [blank]
Country: [blank]
Region: [blank]
Geographic Scope: United States and Canada, open to international members.
For a regional job with significant travel, it might be helpful to describe the location this way:
Work Site Type: In person- various sites, Requires significant travel
City: Denver
State/Province/Territory (US or Canada): Colorado
Country: United States
Region: Mountain West
Geographic Scope: main work site in Denver with occasional visits to satellite locations in Boulder and Colorado Springs, and frequent trips to regional client sites.
The simplest way to correct or update a posting is simply to submit a new version! Our moderators will watch for near-duplicates among recent submissions. If there are no obvious errors, they will keep the most recent version.
If you need to convey additional or urgent information to the moderators or ask for your own organization's listing to be removed, please send us a note with an explanation through our Contact Us Form
Note: because submissions do not require an account or submitter's contact information, we cannot contact you if we notice a problem with a submission, so we will do our best to resolve it on our own.
Please report any bugs or errors in our submission form so we can address them promptly! Use our Contact Us Form.
