The FNRS Contact Group on "Wavelets and Applications" (CGWA) is a series of workshops sponsored by the F.R.S.-FNRS. They are organized regularly since 1996 (more information on previous CGWA events can be found here).

This year, the CGWA workshop will be held in ULB, in Brussels, Belgium, on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Campus de la Plaine. It will focus on the following themes:

• harmonic analysis for data science and machine learning;

• convex and non-convex inverse problems with low-dimensional signal models;

• solving inverse problems with deep learning or low-complexity generative models;

• application of these fields in computational imaging, astronomy and biomedical imaging.

For this occasion, the workshop will be honored to welcome the following plenary speakers:

• Claire Boyer (Sorbonne Université, Paris, France) 

• Estelle Massart (UCLouvain, Belgium)

• Luca Ratti (Università di Genova, Italy)
