The FNRS Contact Group on "Wavelets and Applications" (Groupe de contact FNRS, "Ondelettes et applications") is a series of one-day workshops sponsored by the F.R.S.-FNRS organized regularly since 1996.

This time, this workshop will be held in UCLouvain, in Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, on November 16th, 2016, in the Shannon seminar room (Maxwell Building).

The main theme of the meeting will be
  • randomized linear and non-linear embedding of low-complexity signals (e.g., sparse signals, low-rank models, ...)
  • compressive sensing, processing or restoration of data on graphs,
  • inverse problem solving regularized with low-complexity signal priors.
For this occasion, the workshop will be honored to welcome the following two plenary speakers:

The title and abstract of their 50' talks are given here.

Participation to the workshop is free but registration is mandatory and must be done before November 4th by filling the registration form

Contributed talks:

Additionally, the workshop gladly accepts contributed 20' talks. If you want to propose one preferably (but not necessarily) related to the topics listed above, we welcome your proposal until November 4th 2016

For submitting it, just fill the registration form by providing additionally to your registration data a title and a short abstract (5 to 10 lines) of your talk.
