The Youth Department consists of ages 12 and entering 7th grade through age 25. In addition to regularly scheduled youth events, our youth also participate in the following:

Bible Quiz is an intensive, yet popular program among Christ Gospel youth in grades 7 – 12. It is designed to help our young people learn important Scriptures while having a great experience in fellowship, learning, and team play. It follows a fun game format where quizzers try to answer questions based on their assigned Scriptures. The quickest one to hit the buzzer with the correct answer wins points for their team. The youth compete in regional matches with other Christ Gospel Churches, and the final competition is held the final night of Youth Convention. Sunday school is a time for the youth to be challenged in their understanding and application of the Bible through teaching, discussion, activities, and question & answer times with their Youth Leaders. Click here to learn more: Sunday School

Youth Convention is hosted in Jeffersonville Indiana each summer. Each year the youth come home renewed in God’s Word with new experiences of His Spirit. It is a great time of fellowship with peers who share their same desire to grow spiritually.

Youth events are held in the fellowship hall and around Rome, Ga. These include: lock-ins at the church, fundraising activities, seasonal outings, community service, Christmas play productions, and Youth Rallies with neighboring Christ Gospel Church youth groups. Click here to learn more: Youth

Christ Gospel Churches aim is to raise up their children in the Way they should go (Prov. 22.6). We believe that children have a deep ability to bless the Lord and learn His Word. The children’s department focuses on teaching the Truth of God’s Word and growing in sensitivity to His Spirit. Our worship services invite children to communicate their joy and excitement for God’s presence through jumping, singing, dancing, and praying as they learn to express their growing love for God in a way that Blesses His heart.

Sunday school classes for ages 1-12. In these classes children learn: how to apply God’s Word, follow God’s principles of church order and reverence for God’s House, to creatively play, make crafts, foster loving relationships with their teachers and peers as they all work together within Christ’s Body. Children’s Outings are hosted multiple times per year, where the children and parents can enjoy family friendly activities and fellowship outside of church services.

Nursery is provided during the Word portion of regularly scheduled services, for ages 0-3.

Children's Church is provided during the Word portion of Sunday morning services, for ages 3-6. Older children are encouraged to hear the preaching of God’s Word and learn to participate reverentially in God’s sanctuary with their parents or guardians. Click here to learn more: Children's Programs
