Pastors: Rev's. Rocky & Pam Calvert

Rev. Rocky Calvert was born in Oklahoma City, OK.  He was raised attending Christ Gospel Church, and began his ministry as a musician playing in the church band at age 15. He married the love of his life, Pam Williams, in 1985. Pam was born in Indianapolis, IN and was no stranger to the ministry. Her father, Rev. Joe Williams, was a minister for 34 years and retired as the pastor of the Christ Gospel Church in Oklahoma City.   

Rev. Pam Calvert has helped with vocals during the worship service since the age of 16, and continues to bless the Lord with her gift of singing and leading worship service at our church.

Rev. and Sis. Calvert became the youth ministers for Oklahoma City church in 1987.  While serving as youth ministers, both Rev & Sis. Calvert graduated from The Bible Institute and became ordained ministers.  God called the Calvert’s to serve as the pastors for Christ Gospel Church in Rome, GA and were received with great joy in 1996. They have now been serving for over 22 years as pastors of Christ ​Gospel Church of Rome, as well as Elder for the Mid-South district of Christ Gospel Churches International. The Lord has blessed the Calvert’s with three children and two grandchildren.
