This instrument, titled the CFP PACT, constitutes the Codex of unified regulations governing the affiliation of clubs, the sanctioning of all FIDE-Rated events, including National Championships within the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The PACT functions as the lex superior for all chess-related activities sanctioned by the Chess Federation Pakistan. Any prior circulars, policies, or manuals inconsistent with the PACT are hereby repealed pro tanto. Events sanctioned by an NOC issued prior to the Effective Date of this Codex shall remain governed by their original terms; however, any subsequent administrative actions, appeals, or disciplinary proceedings arising thereafter shall be subject to the procedural mandates of the CFP PACT (Tempus Regit Actum).
