1.0.x

The initial release version. It featured 20 playable characters and a customizable Radiator Springs.
This is the only version featured in the PC version of the game. It did not benefit from new content, its servers shutting down way earlier as a result in 2017.

1.1.x

The Christmas update. It added holiday decorations, track pieces and a holiday-themed Radiator Springs.
Max Schnell was added in this update.
Chinese New Year decorations were later added in this version.
This version of the game, both on iOS and Android are LOST VERSIONS and cannot be retrieved anymore. The only hope is a fan-made restoration patch.

1.2.x

The Ice Racers update. The game maintained its winter theme without any holiday decorations.
From here on out there was a "Quick race" button implemented to jump straight into a race.
XP and Fuel were now numbered to establish the XP left to level up or fuel quantity.
Pyotr Racinov was added in this update.
Long Ge was later added in version 1.2.4b.
Because the archived version is 1.2.1b, Long Ge isn't present but he can be modded in.

1.3.x

The Neon Racers update. It's the last update the game received.
A day/night cycle has been added to this version to enhance immersion.
A daily log-in system was added to reward players based on their commitment to the game.
Sending off cars was added to this update, a great way to earn XP.
The ability to select any car on any track during practice race was added in this version of the game.
Komodo, Yokoza, Shifty Sidewinder, Idle Threat, Blue Grit and Sandy Dunes were all added in this version.

Miscellaneous:

Version 1.3.x on iOS is the ONLY version which supports 64 bit (and 32 bit at the same time), meaning it can be fully enjoyed on both older and newer iDevices. The same cannot be said about Android, unfortunately.
It's confirmed that 1.3.x runs on iOS 26, even without jailbreak, by using iMazing and sideloading.
Theoretically, version 1.0.3.8 of the PC release is also 64 bit, as version 1.0.2.5 is built for ARM, which is incompatible with newer devices who have x64 environments.
The PC release of the game runs properly at resolutions up to 1920x1080, meaning at any resolution beyond that the UI scaling breaks and the icons are oversized and poorly placed. Because of this, there is a fix for this in the modding page.
The Amazon Store version is a less tedious version of the base game, being a lot more indulgent with currencies and overall progression. The gem mine is now free and gives 20 gems instead of 1, fuel is racked up to 40 instead of 5 and all buildings generally give more coins than usual. Reportedly, there also was a 1K gem bonus when installing this version.
