Leadership Camp is a student leadership training program at SMAN Sumatra Selatan that aims to develop leadership, independence, and teamwork skills. This activity is carried out in the open air in the form of camping, thus providing real experience for students to learn to survive, manage themselves, and face challenges directly. Students are involved in activities such as group discussions, marching, organizational simulations, and basic survival skills training such as setting up tents, independent cooking, and nature navigation. In addition to strengthening leadership and communication skills, this program also instills the values ​​of discipline, responsibility, and courage in making decisions.

SMAN Sumatra Selatan is a school that provides full scholarships for 3 years to underprivileged families and the budget comes from the APBD where the people also contribute to the APBD, for example taxes. This encouraged us as students of SMAN South Sumatra to return the favor for the scholarships we have received. As students of SMAN South Sumatra who have leadership qualities in accordance with the vision and mission of SMAN South Sumatra, we will carry out an education program for the community, especially for children. this program as a form of gratitude for the contribution of the people who have helped us in pursuing our education.

We will provide various education for children, such as: English, Mathematics, and Religion. Above all, this program can help children get an education and we use this program as a means to train and foster a leadership spirit and care about education. In addition, this program is a form of our devotion to the community that has given SMAN South Sumatra students the opportunity to attend school with scholarships.
