Student Council or Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) at SMAN Sumatera Selatan is a student leadership forum that plays an active role in developing the potential, character, and social spirit of all students. As a boarding school that emphasizes the values ​​of leadership and responsibility, OSIS SMAN Sumatra Selatan is the center of coordination for various student activities covering academics, arts, sports, religion, environment, and social community. Not only does it implement internal school activities, the Student Council also represents students in external forums, as well as the driving force behind various innovative programs. The existence of the Student Council provides space for students to learn to lead, organize, work together, and have a real impact on the school community and the wider community. 

Being a member of the Religion Management and Attitude division, I gained many valuable benefits in self-development. One of the main benefits is the improvement of the ability to manage and plan religious activities involving many people, such as organizing Ramadan events, Maulid Nabi, or religious-based social activities, this taught me about the importance of careful planning, good coordination with various parties, and the ability to lead in challenging situations. In addition, I also learned to always maintain an attitude and ethics that are in accordance with religious values ​​in every action, both in interacting with friends and in completing the organization's work program.

Stundet Council is one of the 5 major organizations in SMAN Sumatera Selatan, consisting of 10 different divisions.  Being part of this organization gives us the opportunity to hone our leadership, communication, and managerial skills through various organizational activities, this can help increase our self-confidence and ability to work with others. In addition, the experience of managing school events and programs teaches us the importance of responsibility, discipline, decision-making, and leadership skill, which are very useful in our future professional lives.  As part of Student Council, we also play a role in creating a more inclusive and productive school environment, contributing directly to the development of a positive school culture.
