Julissa is the first born daughter, and Cesar's older sister. Cesar and Janaya enjoy living so close to Julissa and her family Mario, Louisa (Lulu) and Ezra. Family is part of both Cesar and Janaya's main value system and they are lucky to have Julissa as their sister. Janaya is especially excited to be welcomed into the family as she has always wanted a big family and people to share holidays with. Julissa has a big heart and cares deeply for her people. She has a sharp eye for beauty and creating it all around her. She also cares deeply for humanity and is a great example of someone who can make meaningful change for herself and the people she comes into contact with.

Ashley is the Maid of Honor! Ashley and Janaya became friends after Janaya and Violet signed up for Nature School. Ashley was the teacher and Violet and Delilah became fast friends. Violet and Delilah are only a week apart so they tend to match each other energy and phases! Through a shared loved of our daughters and a deep connection bonded by motherhood, Ashley and Janaya quickly became close. 

Katie and Janaya met in 2015 through Facebook. (Ask Katie or Janaya for a more in depth, hilarious back story). Katie added Janaya and they quickly bonded over their shared love of Dachshunds. Katie even let Janaya borrow her dog, Oscar for a day! Janaya started working for Edward, Katie’s husband, so even after they moved to North Carolina, Janaya was able to visit and share many more meaningful experiences. Janaya even got to be there for the birth of her second daughter! Katie, Edward, and their family are like family despite the distance. Cesar got to meet them and share in all the fun during our road trip to NC in 2018. 

 Zach is Janaya’s longest time friend. A true Ride or Die homie (as the kids these day would say). They met at North Star Charter school back in 7th grade. They were roommates when Janaya was 19 and rented their first house together. Janaya’s brother, JP also came to live with them when he was 16. Since then, Zach has been like a somewhat wiser older brother to both Janaya and JP. Zach has always been there through thick and thin. He also really knows how to liven up any party. 

 Juan and Cesar met through a mutual friend and instantly connected. They are both highly creative, intelligent men who share a similar upbringing.  Juan is a local artist who slays the clay game. (shameless plug lmao @Serramico on IG)

Tristan and Cesar have been friends since high school. They have grown into themselves as years went on and they always found each other in similar stages of life. Through young adulthood, partnership, and eventually fatherhood, they have been there for each other no matter how much time has passed.

Mark and Cesar met in 2023 when Cesar and Janaya lived in downtown Eagle, Idaho. They were neighbors! As soon as Mark moved in next door, Cesar knew they would be lasting friends. The two enjoyed many laughs and games at Gem State Brewing by their houses. Mark is a pilot and instructor and even helped Cesar obtain his learners permit. Maybe one day Cesar can fly a plane too.
