Introduction
Music Production is an art of making music electronically on Software known as Digital Audio Workstation. This music creation process is done by Music Producers on a Computer or Mobile using latest Virtual Studio Technologies. Basically, Music Producer handles all operations related to the creation of Song or Album from the scratch. Besides producing, arranging and composing, a Music Producer has many roles & capabilities to oversee other aspects related to the choice of instruments, sounds, musicians & techniques to be used in the making of a perfect and best sounding song of a Music Album.
Course Outline
Electronic Music Production Course at PANIGAON OPD COLLEGE is specially designed to teach all of our students the tools, features & functionalities of FL Studio & Cubase in order to use it for Music Production, Music Composing and Music Arrangement.
From adding beats, bass lines and melodies to the final compositions and musical structures, this course provides an in-depth knowledge and covers all technicalities related to the audio/midi processes, sampling, audio recording, layering, grouping, sound design, automations & more.

02. Intro To Music Genres: Introduction to Genres, EDM, Rock/Pop, Hip-Hop/Trap, Bollywood, Assamese Beat structure of different genres.
03. Intro To DAW & Setups: What is a Digital Audio Workstation, Signal Flow & Equipments You Need, Setting Up Your System, Setting Audio Preferences, Setting MIDI Preferences, Optimizing Performance, Understanding FL Studio Interface, Setting Tempo, Saving, Exporting & Midi Editing, Editing MIDI Velocities, etc.

Types of Effects: EQ and Filters, Soloing Different EQ Bands, EQing in Stereo, L/R and M/S, Compressors and Dynamic Processing, Different Types of Delay Effect, Using Reverb Effectively, Side Chain Effects & Automations: Automation Envelopes, Recording Real Time Automation, Drawing Automation Manually
05. Song Structures & Sample Layering: Arrangement Structures, Important instruments in a genre, Sample Selection based on your genre, Layering Samples and Synth sounds, FX placement, Automation Filters, Pitch, Time etc, Building your own FX, Music secrets to make melodies easily
