Within the framework of the CERTI4Headmasters project, setting up the expert committee is an important step to validate the headmaster skill card developed in the project and to meet the requirements of the ISO 17024 standard should the consortium decide to develop an ISO 17024 compliant certification scheme for headmasters in a follow-up project.
The expert committee is open to interested parties who have an interest to recognize and to certify headmasters’ competences.
It is composed of European actors representing headmasters, public and private organizations, certifications bodies, research centres, financing bodies and public authorities.

One of the project's objective is to collect and analyse best practices about the support of (new) teachers by School principals and/or other members of staff or tutors in school.
The survey is one mean to collect these information.
The results will help to produce a catalog of best practices that will be helpful to all interested parties in Europe.
