JEREMY

My name is Jeremy A. Rodríguez Vargas. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Biotechnology from the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with an emphasis in Biochemistry and Chemical Education, at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. I have been working under the supervision of Dr. Raúl R. Rodríguez-Berríos since 2022.

My work focuses on the development of novel azo dyes with biological properties, as well as on the design and implementation of new laboratory experiences for undergraduate courses such as Organic Chemistry and the Biochemical Techniques Laboratory.
