Logic Model

Key to overall logic model

Summary: This model summarises the overall structure of the factors that influence child health with a focus on physical health and weight. The model was co-produced with stakeholders with an interest or experience in child health and particularly child weight. You can read more about how it was constructed here.

Factors and levels: The model contains a number of broad factors which are grouped (e.g. food is a factor that determines child health). These factors are colour coded by type. The factors are also organised by level. Individual level factors are those that vary among individual children; other levels vary across different groupings (e.g. people living in the same neighbourhood; people living in the same economic system, people living in the same socio-political system).

Detail: Behind many of these factors are a number of sub-factors and their rationale for inclusion. You can see these by clicking on the text of factors and levels. These take you to a different ‘board’. You can navigate through these as you would a website.
