OUR POLICIES

Centrist_Marxist is an unequivocal supporter of organized labor. A labor union is the worker's best defense against exploitation, and to support them, Centrist_Marxist supports a suite of measures including but not limited to the repeal of Taft-Hartley, implementation of stringent labor protections for undocumented workers, and the expansion of worker-owned co-operatives. He is a supporter of a $15 minimum wage.

While Centrist_Marxist is supportive of rent control measures in the short term, in the long term he sees municipal housing as the most sustainable solution. He has proposed and supports a bill to expand federal grants to municipalities to build mixed-income housing developments, with the end goal of eliminating homelessness once and for all.

Centrist_Marxist has always been a supporter of equality for all people, and the LGBT community is no exception. Centrist_Marxist has a unblemished record on LGBT issues, and has never wavered in his support for them, unlike his opponent, SuperPacMan04.

Centrist_Marxist believes that healthcare is a human right. Period. No person in this country should go without medical care for any reason whatsoever. Centrist_Marxist is a supporter of Medicare For All as a starting point for a full nationalization of the American health care system akin to that of the United Kingdom's National Health Service.

Centrist_Marxist is in favor of an immediate end to all wars the United States is currently involved in, and a severe downsizing of the American military. He is an opponent of a renewed "cold war" with any foreign nation, and favors cooperation over all else. He supports cutting military support to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other authoritarian regimes in the Middle East.
