Old VHS video tapes and DVDs can degrade over time and you probably don't have a reliable device to play them on anymore. DVD has gone from computer towers and VHS is now mostly completely doomed to the realm of the dinosaurs. The most practical way to enjoy these memories is fed from the cloud internet to any device. Don't worry, it can be private to anyone with the link. 

Along with images we can archive video footage. The objected is to take your memories and make them more accessible to your friends and family.

• VHS to YouTube and Mpeg4 files (Computer Video Format). Tapes are played through and converted to digital. 

• DVD to YouTube and Mpeg4 files. DVDs are converted to file. 

Sharing can be done on our YouTube account with a private link and we will send you the video files online for your own archives. 

We don't do any other video format other than the common VHS and unprotected DVD footage. Basic editing can be done for our hourly rate.  All files will be delivered via an online transfer services to your email address. Even USB plugs are changing in devices now so the best option is cloud storage streamed to your phone, tablets or computers. 

Costs. Budget on $80 for the first video tape and $40 for others. Maybe you have some slides or prints to do at the same time?

Quality of the conversion is depended on the quality of the recording. Our service is available in New Zealand with free pick up and drop off in Taupo otherwise the use of couriers.
