Good Morning Rocket Football Families!
It’s hard to believe, but the 2026 Football Season is right around the corner! This message contains several important updates and details about our remaining off-season and upcoming summer activities. Please take the time to read through everything carefully. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out, and feel free to share this information with anyone interested in our High School or Youth Football Camps.
Summer Camp Registration is OPEN!
We’re excited to announce that registration for Summer Camp is officially live! Please register as soon as possible. Keep in mind that summer camp registration is separate from in-season (fall) registration, which will open later this summer. Please register for summer camp ASAP, this allows us to get a proper count for camp gear in time!
If you plan to play football this fall, I strongly encourage you to attend summer camp. It serves as a vital part of our pre-season preparation. We understand summer schedules can be busy, and we do our best to coordinate with other sports — flexibility is key, and we appreciate your effort in making it work!
The links below include the summer camp brochure and flyers for both high school and youth camps:

Summer Calendar
An updated summer calendar is attached below. While dates may be subject to change, I will send out a separate message if any adjustments are made. Summer camp is critical at every level and should be treated as our official pre-season.
Additionally, I’ve included the first three weeks of our in-season schedule, beginning August 5th. These August dates are mandatory for all players. Per IHSA rules, players must meet a minimum number of practice days to be eligible for our first game.

Spring Program Meeting – TBD
We will host a Spring Player/Parent Meeting sometime in May. This meeting will be MANDATORY for all incoming Freshman players and parents as well as any new players to the program. We’ll also hold a Fall Informational Meeting as we get closer to the season.
Off-Season Expectations: Grades & Behavior
Whether we’re in-season or out, our expectations for behavior and academic performance remain high. I’m incredibly proud of how our players have handled themselves this off-season — we’ve had minimal issues, and that reflects the character and discipline we strive to build.
Please continue to monitor grades at home and encourage your players to stay on top of their academics. This program is about more than football - it’s about shaping young men of integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
