Chief – John Nealy
Chief John Nealy serves as Director of the Pickens County Volunteer Rescue Squads (Rescue 6,7 and 8). He is also Interim Captain of Rescue 7. He joined the organization as a volunteer in 1981.
In addition to his leadership role with Pickens County Rescue, Chief Nealy is affiliated with the Pickens County Emergency Management Office.

Lieutenant Hunter Vaughan has served as Lieutenant of Central Rescue Squad since November 2024. He joined the organization in September 2023 and previously served as the squad's Property Officer, where he was responsible for maintaining inventory records and managing department equipment.

In addition to his role with Central Rescue Squad, Lieutenant Vaughan serves as a volunteer firefighter, continuing his commitment to emergency services and the communities he serves.
