Services

Central Rescue Squad works in partnership with Pickens County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Pickens County Fire Departments (FD), and Pickens County Emergency Management (PCEM) to provide specialized resources, additional personnel, and operational support during emergency incidents throughout our service area.

Our 911 emergency response services include lift assist calls, assistance with a wide variety of medical emergencies alongside PCEMS, on-scene firefighter rehabilitation alongside PCFD, traumatic injury response, motor vehicle collisions, search and rescue operations, specialized rescue incidents, and other emergency support services as requested by PCEM. We routinely respond to assist Ambulance Units 4, 7, and 11 within our primary response area, while also providing support to other EMS units throughout Pickens County whenever additional resources are requested.

Our members maintain a wide range of certifications and participate in ongoing training to ensure they are prepared to meet the needs of our community and effectively support our partner agencies during emergency operations.
