Early Childhood Education Business Coach Certification 

Level 1:  Fundamentals in Business Coaching

The Level 1 Coach Training Program will give you the experience and confidence you need to work with clients who are early childhood educators. The Level 1 course is a prerequisite for the Level 2 Course to become a Certified Professional Business Coach. You will earn a certificate after the training, which you can use toward your professional development goals. This Level 1 course provides a foundation in coaching, business, and leadership, with hands-on training and an experiential learning focus. You will learn tools and communication techniques and have numerous opportunities to coach and receive feedback on your newly acquired skills.

Over the 3-week course, you will attend 1 all-day online Zoom session each week (6 hours with a 30-minute lunch break) on either Mondays or Tuesdays with your course instructors and cohort, and you will complete reading and homework assignments during the course. You will also be asked to find 1 person to practice coaching with each week of the training.  

Level 2: Certified Professional Business Coach

The Level 2 Coach Training Program allows you to get certified as a Professional Business Coach. You must pass our certification exam at the end of taking the Level 2 course. To enroll in Level 2, you must have completed Level 1 with a Level 1 equivalent from another institution or us. You will need to log at least 20 hours of coaching with clients to earn your certification by the end of the course (paid or unpaid clients).  This Level 2 training builds upon what you learned in the fundamentals of coaching Level 1 training.

The Level 2 Cohort meets 4 times on Zoom over 4 weeks, for 3 hours each time. You will also be required to complete reading and homework assignments each week and to submit one 40-60-minute video of yourself coaching a client. The video will be graded, and is pass/fail. If you fail, you will have 2 more attempts to resubmit and achieve a passing score.

Level 2 allows you to become Certified as an Early Childhood Education Professional Business Coach. Your certificate will say, “Certified Professional Business Coach, with a focus in ECE business coaching”.  You will also receive a digital badge that you can add to your LinkedIn profile, email signature, etc and use to promote yourself.
