The Whole Ball of Wax
Waxing is a cornerstone service for estheticians, offering a long-lasting solution for unwanted hair removal. It allows for smooth, hair-free skin and can even slow down hair regrowth over time. The demand for professional waxing services has fueled a billion-dollar industry, as people seek out skilled estheticians for safe and effective treatments. This popularity is driven by the desire for convenience, longer-lasting results compared to shaving, and the overall aesthetic appeal of smooth skin.
Discover the world of waxing by doing your research, and remember that hair removal is a large portion of your state board testing. In this assignment you must meet the following criteria:

Layers of Skin Project
Understanding the layers of the skin and its appendages is foundational for aestheticians as it dictates how to effectively treat various skin conditions and concerns. This knowledge allows for informed decisions regarding product selection, treatment modalities, and understanding potential contraindications based on the depth of penetration and interaction with specific skin structures like hair follicles and glands. By grasping skin anatomy, aestheticians can provide safer, more targeted, and ultimately more successful treatments for their clients.
For this project you will create a booklet or powerpoint shedding back the layers of the skin (7 points for each slide):
Each slide should have a photo, description of where the layer is located (ex. 2nd layer of epidermis), and its function:

Hypodermis (Subcutis or Subcutaneous Tissue)
Also a photo, description of location, and function for:
