ATTENTION
STARTING APRIL 1ST OUR DROP OFF SERVICE HOURS WILL CHANGE:
We will no longer be accepting drop off's on Wednesday mornings. You will now be able to drop off on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's from 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm! If you have a lot of glass or more than 12 of our can liner bags you will still need to make an appointment. If these times do not work for you please call or stop in to make an appointment for a time that will work. When dropping off please come inside and see a staff member; let them know you have a drop and they will instruct you from there what to do. Please know that during the busy months it may take up to TWO WEEKS to get your money!! You can NOT drop off and have some counted in the same day; it's one or the other! Make sure you know the rules before dropping off or you will be refused!
WE DO CLOSE OVER THE LUNCH HOUR ON TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FROM 12PM-1PM!
We are open Monday evenings from 4pm-7pm and the first Saturday of the month 9am-12pm to help accommodate customers who can't make it during our weekday hours.
Our line is cut 15 minutes prior to closing meaning 15 minutes prior to closing we bring in the people that are outside in line inside so that our staff can leave at reasonable time. If we don't do this we would never get to go home! If we don’t have a line at 15 minutes prior to closing then we keep our door open until the scheduled closing time.
About us
Who we are
Center Redemption is a full service redemption center located in Dubuque, IA. People can bring in their redeemable beverage containers and get their full deposit back. We conduct transactions with both consumer and businesses to refund the Iowa 5¢ bottle deposit, as well as process containers by brand and material back to the distributor.
Services

Why are we important?
We are important because we are keeping Iowa a clean and beautiful state by collecting and recycling the glass, plastic, and aluminum containers, thus keeping them out of landfills and ditches. We are able to keep our operation running because of the Iowa Bottle Bill, which is often under reconsideration.
