BABŪ TIONÓL International' Workplace Wellness Policy
Effective Date: January 19, 2026
Our Workplace Wellness Policy is designed to prioritise the health, safety, and wellbeing of all practitioners and colleagues across the businesses within BTI Co. It fosters a culture of respect, professional responsibility, and consideration for the health of others, ensuring that every engagement is conducted safely and thoughtfully.
1. Scope
Applies to all businesses, affiliates, and sole trader arrangements within BABŪ TIONÓL International.
Covers general health, contagious illnesses, vaccination guidance, mental wellbeing, and work-related ergonomics.
Complements existing health, safety, and data policies, while respecting individual privacy.
2. Core Principles
Health First: Practitioners who are unwell are expected to notify their supervisor or team promptly and refrain from in-person work.
Respect for Others: Interactions in the workplace, on-site, or virtual must prioritise safety and consideration for colleagues and clients.
Professional Responsibility: Decisions about attending work while ill or potentially infectious are guided by both professional judgment and organisational standards.
3. Illness and Attendance
If a practitioner experiences symptoms of contagious illnesses, they should inform their manager or team by email or designated communication platform.
Remote work or approved leave should be arranged to avoid unnecessary exposure to others.
This includes, but is not limited to, influenza, COVID-19, and other conditions that could jeopardise the health of colleagues or clients.
4. Vaccination Guidance
Vaccination against COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) is recommended for in-person engagements but is part of a broader wellness framework.
Practitioners are encouraged to maintain vaccinations in accordance with public health advice, but attendance and participation policies emphasise overall wellness, not coercion.
5. Wellness Support
Access to mental health resources, wellness days, and flexible work arrangements to maintain holistic wellbeing.
Encouragement of ergonomic and safe work practices for remote or on-site environments.
6. Policy Framework and Compliance
Practitioners are expected to follow this policy in conjunction with their Scope of Work (SWO) and relevant contractual obligations.
Centralised guidance and updates will be available via BABŪ TIONÓL’s policy portal, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all businesses.
7. Culture of Care
Our wellness policy reflects our ethos of professional respect, empathy, and shared responsibility. By maintaining a safe and supportive workplace, we protect the health of every practitioner, client, and stakeholder.
