Dr. Ankita Jha

Dr. Jha is a She is a postdoctoral fellow research fellow at NIH in the lab of Dr. Clare Waterman. Her research relates to plasma membrane organization and establishment of front-rear polarity during bleb based migration in cancer cells.

She is the recepient of a came an American society of cell biology (ASCB) COMPASS outreach grant, and has organized a virtual microscopy camp with outreach sessions using the Foldscope and is active in open science communities and STEM out-reach activities.

She is an alumnus of IISER Pune, NCBS Bangalore and the developmental biology instute of Marseille, France.

Dr. Prasad Perlekar

Dr. Perlekar has a PhD from IISc Bangalore and is a principal investigator at TIFR Hyderabad for interdisciplinary science. He works on multi-phase flows, turbulence and active matter.

He has worked on bacterial diffusion and dispersal in the context of spatial population genetics in the past with Prof. David Nelson at Harvard University.

Dr. Jerome Solon

Dr. Solon is a Research Professor at the Basque Institute for Science in Bilbao, Spain. His work focuses on the biomechanics of morphogenesis and control of epithelial organization during morphogenesis.

He has previously been a principal investigator at CRG Barcelona and postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Paul Janmey in USA.
