Céline Grislain-Letrémy

Senior research economist at the Banque de France and CREST research fellow

I am a senior research economist at the Banque de France and a research fellow affiliated to the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics. Prior to that, I held management positions at the French Ministry of Solidarity and Health, economist positions at the French Statistical Institute and at the French Ministry of Environment, and consultant position at the OECD.

I specialize in environmental economics, risk and insurance economics, urban economics and spatial econometrics, public policy evaluation, and economics of taxation and social benefits. More specifically, most of my research works analyze the interactions between climate, insurance, and real estate; they also study environmental taxation.  My work has been rewarded by various prizes, such as the 2013 Solemn Thesis Award from the Chancellerie des Universités de Paris, or the SCOR - Geneva Risk and Insurance Review Best Paper Award in 2021.
