Clarence William "Bill" Nelson II, American politician and attorney serving as the administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, who also served as a Payload Specialist on Space Shuttle Columbia's STS-61-C mission from January 12 to 18, 1986, gave the commencement address. He spoke of "moonshots," of reaching high and achieving greatness.
