Presentation

In our daily lives, we often take our concepts for granted.

Yet, it may turn out that some of the concepts we use are defective.

We may want to revise such concepts.

What to do?

In analytic philosophy, conceptual engineering is the process of evaluation, revision, or design of conceptual representations.

There is a problem, though.

The revision may go too far. It may lead to a “change of subject”.

The aim of CEIC is to assess the impact of the “change of subject” problem on conceptual engineering projects.
