I will be out of the country until Tuesday, May 19. Shannon Roy will be taking care of any union business with support from executive staff officers. All reps have her contact information, she is ready to help with staffing as it begins.
Reps! Please make sure you have spoken with members at your site who need to update Membership Registry with their updated email. Email communication is the most efficient was for all NSTU members to receive important communication from NSTU Halifax. We are heading in to negotiations and CEHL members need to be aware and ready for action!

Friday, May 15 Deadline for university course claims for Winter & Fall courses are due for Article 60 reimbursement
Saturday, May 23 Wine tour to Jost (day trip on a Markie bus). There are a few spots available for the wine tour on May 23rd. As it is in less than 2 weeks, we will open it up to 1 guest per member, at a cost of $5/person. Please email cehlnstu@gmail.com before you send money, to ensure there is room. Money can also be sent to this email. Please also indicate who the money is for, and if you want to be picked up in Elmsdale or Truro. Remember, this covers the cost of the bus; drinks and food will be available for purchase.

Saturday, June 13 @ 5PM Retirement Celebration: Social, Buffet 5:30-6:30 and recognition event to follow Inn on Prince. The retirement list will be finalized and sent out later this week - tickets will be on sale starting May 18th at a cost of $20/person. E-transfers can be sent to cehlnstu@gmail.com.
