Let’s Culture: Our Days in Radviliškis, Lithuania
Let’s Culture: Our Days in Radviliškis, Lithuania
23/08/2025
From August 14 to 18, 2025, our CEGE team had the chance to be part of Let’s Culture — a vibrant international youth exchange hosted in the Lithuanian town of Radviliškis. The project brought together young people from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy, and Armenia to explore culture, traditions, and creativity through an immersive program full of workshops, visits, performances, and intercultural moments.
Emily (@el.em.ei), one of our participants, described the project as an unforgettable experience:
“The project exceeded my expectations. I had an awesome experience, meeting and talking with so many people, getting to know their country’s culture and traditions. The part when trying different foods was so good as well. I really liked the games we played, the dances we danced, the time we spent together and shared so many stories and points of view. We all are so different from each other and at the same time we realized how many similarities we face every day in our lives. One of my best memories are from the KARMA Festival in Radviliškis, because we took so many cool photos, played games and listened to the music of the native groups. I’m thankful I experienced all of this and had the opportunity to be in Lithuania, because I was also impressed by the cleanliness and orderliness in this country. I remained with beautiful and positive emotions and I hope to meet all these people someday again.”
Her words reflect the very essence of the project: celebrating diversity while discovering how much connects us across borders.
The five days were filled with cultural discovery and shared learning:
Vilnius City Tour kicked things off, allowing teams to explore Lithuania’s capital before heading to Radviliškis.
Meetings with the Culture Hive Youth Club created space for exchange, ice-breaking, and building friendships through games, music, and conversations.
Theatre & Tradition: participants attended the performance Three Sisters by Big Woolf Company and spent a day at Kleboniškis open-air museum, diving into old crafts and traditions.
KARMA Festival was a highlight for everyone — live music, games, and vibrant local culture under the summer sky.
Exploring Panavėžys included a visit to the Stasys Museum and time to enjoy the city’s cultural sights.
Every moment of the program balanced structured activities with space for informal bonding, making it not only educational but also deeply memorable.
Let’s Culture was more than a cultural exchange — it was a space where new friendships were built, creativity was celebrated, and young people discovered the richness of each other’s traditions. We return with positive emotions, stronger connections, and a motivation to continue bringing young people together through meaningful experiences.
