There is a lock box on the rear stairs near the cellar door. Use the code provided.

Lights
Lights need special attention as most light switches have been removed. To run lights on or off, use the commands:
Alexa, turn FIREPLACE on/off
Alexa, turn LOFT LIGHTS on/off
The lights near the refrigerator are controlled by a switch on the vertical board in the middle of the room.
The lights in the the main "lifing room" are turned on/off by screwing/unscrewing the light bulbs.
The porch light also works.
*If needed, there is a flashlight in the top drawer of the red tool chest, on the left hand side.
Sleeping
There are extra blankets and sheets in the antique trunk. The skylights can be open/closed for comfort using the extended skylight pole. There are also some small fans that may be plugged in.
Heating
The fireplace is used for heating and is controlled by a small, silver remote control. It is normally on the fireplace mantel or edge of the "kitchen" tool chest.
The thermostat the bathroom controls the temperature in the bath only.
Kitchen
The large rolling tool chest next to the fireplace is the primary make-shift kitchen.
Cutlery is in the upper left drawer and sharp knives on the left hand side. Cooking utensils are in the top middle drawer. Pots and pans mainly hang on the side ot the tool chest. Plates are bowls are in the lower left drawer. Coffee cups are in one of the left drawers as well. Condiments are on the side of the refrigerator.
To use the induction cooktop press the power button, then press "power" to set the power level (1-7). The cooktop will shut off if the pot is removed or not found.
Shower
The shower is turned on and off by pressing the two buttons on the right hand side - one for the shower head and one for the shower wand. The large knob is used to set the temperature.
Induction cooktop. The induction cooktop is on top of the microwave and requires the pot be in place to turn on. Simply place a steel pot on the top and press the POWER button. The cooktop will automatically start at power level 3. To change the level, press the POWER button and then use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the heat. NOTE: Power level 7 is SEARING and gets very hot, very quickly.
Grill. Grill is located outside next to the chimney. Charcoal is in the small can next to it.
Food/beverages. Please help yourself to anything you can find and make yourself at home.
TV
The TV is controlled using the Insignia remote. The TV is very slow to respond, so please be patient.
The Insignia Remote is used to turn the TV of/off and control Amazon Fire TV functions, including switching inputs.
Roku is on HDMI2. Remote instructions.
Xumo is on HDMI1 and provides live local Spectrum TV content. Remote Instructions.
Music
Ask Alexa to play anything you like. "Alexa, play ________"
There is also a portable bluetooth speaker you can take out to the hot tub.
HOT TUB
The hot tub is locked using two straps. The key is hanging on the wall next to the front door. Simply unlock the strap and remove it. For single-person use, you only have to unlock the strap on the right (when facing the hot tub) and you can fold the cover back 1/2 way. Press the temperature button repeatedly to achieve the desired temperature. You can reverse the temperature direction by pausing briefly, then pressing the temp button again.
Towels can be found in the deck box by the hot tub.
