•All parents/caregivers are encouraged to attend SAC meetings and provide their input even if they are not voting members. The SAC is to represent the perspectives of the parent community as a whole.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Most members of the SAC must be parents
By-laws allow for a maximum of 5 parent members (who can vote)
Principal or VP: Non-voting member
Teaching staff member: Voting Member, elected by other teaching staff
Non-teaching staff member: Voting Member, elected by other non-teaching staff
Student member: Voting member, appointed by Student Leadership Counsel (SLC)
Community Member: Voting member, elective
