Barn Rules
no running or yelling you will either get hurt by a horse or spook that horse.
Ask before giving feed or treats.
Cross tie when grooming and tacking up except Simba he gets groomed and tacked up in his stall.
Riders must clean up after horse in aisle.
WAIT For an instructor to say it's ok to lead horse out of cross ties or stall.
Keep Gates closed we don't like chasing after horses if a stall or pasture wasn't closed properly.
No Smoking when you smoke you can cause a barn fire be considerate.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Don't ride alone without trainer permission or supervision.
When two riders are passing on rail rider going to the left should pass to the inside and the rider going to the right should pass to the left or wait.
Students may not jump without instructor supervising.
Students Should only groom, tack up and take care of their assigned horse.
Tacking up and grooming should be done in cross ties except Simba of course, not tied to a gate or stall, when tied to stall use quick release knot.
Hold the lead rope next to the clip and the other in the middle of the lead rope.
Tack should be put away neat and clean and back where you found them.
Turn off lights and water and fan before you leave the barn.
