Contents: In 2016, CEC Committee voted to donate $500 USD to ZhengYu, 8^th grade student in Heilongjiang JiXishi’s HuTou Junior High. He had a brain surgery in 2016.

Contents: In 2015, scholarships were extended again. Total of five liaisons participated in the work with 60 needy students received ￥1000 yuan scholarship plus small gifts.

内容：2015年理事会决定续办优良清寒学生助学金项目，由浙江夏勇, 黑龙江舒亢，四川绵阳吕丽江, 四川雅安高起植, 广西白先洁推荐共60位优良清寒学生，经过美国理事会审核，每位赠与￥1000人民币助学金及小礼物。

Contents: In 2014, CEC committee extended the project to three more regions. 12 students from Heilongjiang, 6 from Sichuan, 9 from Zhejiang for a total of 27 needy students were rewarded ￥1000 yuan each plus a small gift.

内容：2014年健华社理事会决定续办优良清寒学生助学金，由黑龙江舒亢推荐12 位品学兼优的学生，四川绵阳吕丽江 推荐6位，浙江夏勇9位，共27位清寒学生，经过美国理事会审核，每位赠与￥1000人民币助学金及小礼物

Contents: Because of the excellent outcome of the project, CEC voted to repeat the project in 2013. ShuKang invited two local junior highs’ principals and teachers to recommend students to apply for scholarships. ShuKang personally interviewed each student and recommended seven needy students to CEC. CEC committee then review each application and seven students were rewarded with 2000 yuan each plus a MP5 as gift.

内容：由于2011年清寒学生助学金项目的成功，2013 年理事会决议在黑龙江鸡西市续办清寒学生助学金项目, 由当地中学校长及老师推荐、经过健华社联络代表舒亢面谈, 再由美国理事会审核, 在密山市白鱼湾中学选出四位品学兼优的学生,鸡西市树梁中学选出三位、共七位，每位赠与￥2000人民币助学金及MP5 电脑礼物。

Contents: Although the Chinese economy is blooming, many families in the rural areas still struggle to send their children to school. CEC passed a resolution in 2012 to start scholarships for needy students to encourage them to do good at school. Heilongjiang’s liaison ShuKang was selected to pilot the project. She selected three high school students to receive ￥2000 yuan each。

内容：虽然中国经济日益发展，在边境农村地区仍有许多贫困、单亲孩童努力奋斗求上进,健华社理事会决议,以助学金方式,鼓励支持成绩优良的清寒学生,由黑龙江联络代表,高中老师舒亢、在学校甄选三位合乎条件的高中学生，每位赠与￥2000人民币的助学金。

2012 Guizhou Rubino Dictionary Program贵州茹彬诺健华童心字典

Contents: Very few primary school students in Guizhou’s rural areas can afford the genuine “Xinhua Dictionary” published by the government. CEC liaison ShiWuGang proposed to give each student access to a Xinhua dictionary to foster positive learning. In 2012, Professor Louis Rubino funded this program. Yaoshan Primary School in YaoShanYaoZuXiang, Libo county was selected to pilot the program. The program was completed in three stages. In the first year, 326 Xinhua dictionaries for $1000 were purchased for the second to fifth graders. The second year, additional 327 Synonym Antonym dictionaries for $1000 were added for the second to fifth graders. In the third year, 218 Idiom dictionaries for $1000 were purchased for the fourth to fifth graders.

内容；贵州贫困地区农村中小学内拥有正版“新华字典”的学生比例十分低，加大北岭分校教授Dr. Rubino 希望通过这个项目让每个学生能够拥有一本字典，培养学生学习的乐趣，于2012年在荔波县瑶山瑶族乡瑶山民族小学试办童心字典活动，第一年捐款$1,000购买326本新华字典给二至五年级学生；第二年捐款$1,000 购买327本 同义词反义词词典;第三年捐款$1,000购买218本成语词典给四至六年级学生。

2012 Outstanding Jianhua Libraries Book Awards优良健华图书馆购书奖金

Contents: Since CEC opened its first Jianhua Library in 1990, many early libraries encountered shortage of funds. CEC committee decided to provide additional funding to the outstanding libraries recommended by liaisons. Each library was granted $2000 USD to purchase books.

内容：健华社自1990年创办至2012，许多早年开办的图书馆遭遇到经费上的短缺，理事会决议，由理事会甄选五位联络代表，再由这五位联络代表推荐办得最好的图书馆，共八个馆，每馆赠与$2,000美金购书经费以及奖状以资奖励。

2009 Orphan Support Plan for Sichuan Earthquake Victims四川地震孤儿助养

Contents: After the earthquake, Professor Lin Tungpo, Professor Zhou Paul, Huang Sophia and Liang Fulan wanted to help the children who lost their family. But, because of the restrictions from the government, only ZhaoLingling was selected by CEC’s liaison, LvLijiang to receive monthly living assistance till he started working at 18.

内容：林同坡教授、周传钧教授，夏淑芬及梁富兰希望资助在地震中失去亲人的孩童，介于中国政策上的限制，由四川绵阳联络代表吕丽江甑选了孤儿赵玲玲为资助对象，自2009 起到2013他开始工作后，共捐助$1,920 补助他生活费用。

2008 Sichuan Earthquake Relief Fundraising四川地震赈灾活动

Contents: On May 12, 2008, Sichuan Wenchuan suffered from a 7.9 richeter scale earthquake causing nearly 70,000 deaths, and about 18,000 people missing. It is the most destructive earthquake since the founding of People’s Republic of China. CEC immediately initiated various fund-raising activities. A total of $42,121.30 USD was raised. Considering the Chinese government’s restrictions on non-profit donations, fund was donated to the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades for their orphanage project, namely “Herald Children’s Home”. This orphanage started operation in 2010.

内容：2008年5月12日四川汶川地区发生7.9级大地震，造成近七万人死亡，约一万八千人失踪，是中国成立以来破坏力最大的地震，健华社立即发起捐款活动，并且和圣峪华协在六月八日共同举办救灾捐款音乐晚会，共募得 $42,121.30 美金。考虑到中国政策上的限制，经过几次理事会讨论、仔细甄选后，最后决定把款项捐给基督教角声布道团的孤儿院计划 - “角声儿童村”, 这所孤儿院已于 2010年启用。

2008 Two Jianhua Library Conferences 两次健华图书馆会议

First Conference: May 25-29，第一次会议 在五月二十五日 至 二十九日举行

Contents: The conference was held at Ningbo Institute of Technology, Ningbo, Zhejiang. More than 40 librarians and administrators from across the country attended. They discussed library issues and learned the newly developed library input system – JLIMNet.

内容：会议在浙江宁波的宁波技术学院举行。来自全国各地40多位健华图书馆的馆员出席了会议，讨论图书馆问题并学习健华图书馆的图书输入系统 JLIMNet.

Second Conference: October 20， 第二次会议 在十月二十日举行

Contents: A workshop was held in Shenyang, Liaoning for the five libraries in this region. Six librarians and administrators attended. They discussed library issues and learned the newly developed library input system – JLIMNet.

内容：区域性研讨会在辽宁沈阳举行，五个健华图书馆共六位馆员出席，讨论图书馆问题并学习健华图书馆的图书输入系统 JLIMNet。

2007 Medical Refrigerators for Guizhou’s Rural Medical Stations贵州农村医疗站医疗用冰箱

Contents: Medical stations in Guizhou’s rural areas badly needed medical refrigerators to store vaccine and other medicines locally. With initial donations from Fred and Dorothy Chau, CEC’s president Angela Lew raised funds among her college schoolmates for 100 such refrigerators.

内容: 贵州贫困农村的医疗站普偏缺乏医疗用冰箱以放置预防疫苗等医疗用品, 邹庆国夫妇发起捐款，经由健华社社长左四臧在她台大同学间募款, 共筹得100 台医疗用冰箱.

2004-2006 Adding Computer Equipment for the Early Established Libraries为早期健华图书馆增添电脑设备

Contents: The project was to provide villagers in poor areas with computer equipment and internet access. Between 2004 and 2006, Mr. Fred Chau donated $37,000 to buy computers, printers and disks for the earlier established Jianhua libraries. Total of 26 Jianhua libraries received such equipment.

内容：为了让贫困地区的乡民能免费使用电子设备,让他们拥有与城市市民竞争的平台，邹庆国夫妇于2004 至2006 年共捐了美金$37,000 为一些早期设立的健华图书馆添购电脑、打印机及光片设备。分三个阶段完成，一共为二十六个健华图书馆增添了电子设备。

1994 Funding to South China Flooding Victims中国华南抗洪救灾

Total Project Cost项目总额：USD $2,090 美金

Contents: During the Southern China flooding in June of 1994, thousands of people were killed, many more became homeless. Although CEC was not formally established till 1989, the future CEC presidents – Professor Lin Tungpo and Professor Chow Kwangnan immediately initiated relief fundraising. Their efforts raised $2,090; the amount was delivered to the Chinese Consulate and distributed accordingly.

内容：1994年六月中国华南地区洪水肆虐,千人丧生,近万间住屋摧毁,健华社虽是在1989年正式成立,日后的健华社社长林同坡教授,周广南教授在洪灾发生后立即发起救灾募款,筹得美金$2090 交给中国领事馆。
