Next Steps

Current steps we are taking to further the initiative are:

1. Writing a piece of legislation in the form of a resolution within CU Boulder's Student Government (CUSG) to urge faculty tasked with managing and changing curriculum to include more ethical teachings to support current practices in collaboration with the Herbst Program for Engineering, Ethics & Society. These suggested curriculum changes currently & mainly pertain to Engineering Connections' COEN 1500 course.

2. Hosting an engineering-specific ethics bowl to encourage critical thinking, improve engineers' communication and reasoning skills, and facilitate ethical debate.

3. Reaching out to students, faculty, student organizations, and more parties to hear from as many people involved.
