About our history
Our Kansas group started in December of 2022 by Joe Hafley.
We had an amendment added onto HB 2058 by the senate and it was passed in 2023 by the senate.
We had a hearing in the Kansas house in 2024 for bill HB2622.
SB176 and HB2252 are both active for the 2026 session.
We will be back each and every session until our bills get passed and put into law!
Our goal is to have casinos in Kansas to be smoke free.

Leader of the group has worked in a casino for 7 years. No one should have to work in secondhand smoke
We need your help! Everyone deserves to breathe clean air while they work. Ventilation systems only cover up some of the odor of secondhand smoke. The Ventilation systems DO NOT get rid of the thousands of particles from secondhand smoke that are very hazardous to your health. This is why employees keep getting sick over and over.
Employees and guests will be so much happier once casinos are smoke free! Get involved! Help us make history! Share with your family and friends how the clean air act of 2010 does not include ALL Kansas workers. WE ARE GOING TO FIX THAT!
Opponents say that the casinos will lose revenue and have to lay off employees. That is simply not true! It has been proven that non smoking casinos thrive more than smoking casinos.
Our senate bill has been introduced. It is SB176. It has been referred to the Federal And State Affairs Committee which is also the sponsor of the bill. The link for this bill is SB176
