The growing importance of rethinking elderly care from both policy and grounded perspectives, in the context of an increasingly ageing population, was discussed, covering the multidimensional aspects of elderly care, including financing, care models, and the range of needs.

The viability of the model was discussed focusing on its emphasis on market expansion and customer acquisition, the consequent precarisation of delivery partners’ working conditions, and the ways these dynamics have shifted over time.

Positive and negative liberty, the importance of dialogue, positive discrimination, echo chambers, and the point at which these could become totalitarian were among the aspects discussed.
