Topic: Clusters of CDL Concern
Agenda:
Lightning talk: Hear from two of our community members about investments in CDL development.
Clusters of Concern. These issues have been raised as challenges in previous forum meetings:
consulting with legal counsel;
choosing collections/content/scope of service;
managing the scanning, processing workflows, and file storage; and
controlling the digital lending through technology and best practices.
We will use breakout groups to share our experiences, identify challenges, and discuss our ideas for CDL in these areas. This collaborative forum will give us opportunities to learn from each other and help us build our community of expertise.
Reporting out and discussion
April 13, 2022, Wednesday, 3:00-4:30 EDT
Topic: Implementers' Idea Exchange
Agenda
Lightning Rounds: Hear from two of our community members who have implemented various aspects of controlled digital lending (Slides from University of Chicago)
Small group discussion activity: Shopping and Sharing your CDL ideas, challenges and opportunities. During this portion of the forum you'll respond to several discussion prompts and questions and meet with colleagues in small groups. This is a great opportunity to pitch or refine an idea you have, share a grant proposal, identify potential collaborators, and consider shared needs and challenges surrounding CDL together. Before the close of the session, we'll report out and determine whether there are any shared needs and community agenda items to tackle together.
