CDIAA is a Capital Region membership organization established in 2002. Our facility serves as home to several organizations including the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, and the Capital District Set Dancers. CDIAA works with these groups and many more to promote Irish culture, food, music, dance, and history events.
Lectures, classes, and entertainers keep alive the history, music, and traditions that represent the best of Irish heritage.
We are located at 375 Ontario Street in Albany, New York.
Membership is not limited to any ethnicity, religion, or gender. Our membership is open to all individuals who want to learn more about, or become an active participant in any aspect of Irish culture.
From dancing jigs and reels at a ceili to discussing the origin of Irish Names, CDIAA membership provides stimulating social possibilities.
The CDIAA Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month. All members are welcome to attend.
