East Clayton Community Park (ECCP)

Our main and public course for events. Designed by CDGC member, Bobby Henn, ECCP is a premier North Carolina wooded course that will test your skill set and mental fortitude - ranking as one of the better courses in the Raleigh-Durham area.

It is a beast from the original/long pins - a Par 60 that covers over 7000' of wooded and diverse terrain. From the shorts, it is still a challenging a Par 56. To get the best of both worlds, there is an "All Star" layout - all longs, except 5, 11, 13, 16 & 17 - that comes in at a Par 59.

We have recently installed 6 alternate/short pins on holes 5, 8, 10, 11, 13 and 17, that provide for some variance with the layouts. These pins will be rotated monthly between the 2 positions.

More information about the course may be found at East Clayton Park - DGCourseReview.

The CDGC is working closely with Clayton Parks & Recreation on improvements to the East Clayton Community Park disc golf course and additional courses in the area. We will share more information as this develops.

ECCP Course Records (a record is considered official only if it occurs in a PDGA event or unsanctioned event recognized by the CDGC - including CDGC doubles, monthlies and weekly singles events). The ECCP course has gone through a couple of layout changes, due to the construction of the Harmony Playground. Long pins signify holes 5, 8, 10, 11 and 17 in their original/long positions. Short pins signify the same holes in their alternate/short position.
