The workshop on Cross-Domain Biometric Recognition (CDBR) will be held in conjunction with IEEE WACV 2018 in Lake Tahoe, NV/CA on March 15, 2018. This workshop is among the first to solicit proposals and provide a platform to bring together the biometric recognition and domain adaptation communities to address the challenge of integrating next generation biometric systems with legacy biometric databases. This workshop will focus on domain adaptation technology and applications to cross-domain biometric recognition. Cross-domain technology includes methods for matching source data from one domain with target data from another domain (e.g., infrared to visible face, cross-wavelength iris, 3D-to-2D fingerprint). The workshop will bring together Government & industry representatives, law enforcement agencies and academics for this emerging area of research.
