What is the CDA Booster Club?

The Coastal Dance Academy Booster Club (CDABC) is a non-profit organization that exists for organizational and financial support of the Coastal Dance Academy Elite Team and qualifies as an exempt organization under 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the CDABC is to support the Elite Competition Team with volunteer and financial support, while encouraging the educational values of learning discipline, responsibility and respect that fosters artistry in young dancers. 

CDABC is to encourage and facilitate parent involvement, and to keep Elite Team families informed of Elite Team fundraising events and news.

CDABC consists of an Executive Board, additional officers, and the general members

Our CDA Booster club has been able to raise several hundreds of dollars per dancer during the year of fundraising for the Elite Team. This is very important because it not only builds relationships with our community, but it teaches the dancers to work hard for things they want to do in life. If you decide to be on the Elite Team, fundraising is a huge help when it comes to the various fees associated with Elite Team studio fees and competition fees. Fundraising by the CDABC is a joint effort and the more involvement and participation from its members, the better we can raise funds together to support the Elite Team. There is a direct correlation between member participation/effort and amount of funds raised.

The Booster Club charges a $20 membership fee per family when joining to start out the year. We have a list of rules and bylaws that we follow and if you are interested or have any questions, we can be reached at cdaelitebooster@gmail.com

A form or email will be available for the dancers of the new Elite Team season after auditions and placements have been made. The completed CDABC form and fee are due no later than August 15th.
