How Much Can I Get Back?

• $75 for individuals.

• $150 for married couples filing jointly.

• You can do this once every year.

Who Can I Donate To?

To get the refund, your money must go to:

• A political party (like CD3 DFL), or

• Candidates for state office (like State Senate or State House) who have signed the Public Subsity Agreement and agreed to abide by campaign spending limits.

• Note: Donations to local races (like City Council and School Board) or people running for Congress or President do not qualify.

How Do I Get My Refund?

1. Donate: Contribute to CD3 DFL.

2. Get a Receipt: We will send you a PCR receipt.

3. Mail it In: Fill out a simple one-page form and mail it with your receipt to the MN Department of Revenue.

4. Receive Your Refund: You don’t have to wait for tax season! You can send your form in as soon as you have your receipt, and the MN Department of Revenue will mail you a your refund via check or deposit directly into your checking or savings account.
