Help kids explore what it means to have a friendship with a real, loving, trustworthy God--
a friendship that lasts forever! 

We count on volunteers to run our VBS!   Please use this online form to sign up to volunteer.   We need adult and youth volunteers.  There is something for everybody!  Scroll down to view volunteer job descriptions.

Volunteer Job Descriptions:

Sing & Splash Leader/Fin-Tastic Finale Leader/Music Station Leaders: Duties include becoming familiar with the VBS songs/motions so you can lead kids in several songs each day.  Helping to facilitate the opening & closing sessions each day.

Elementary Volunteer Positions (working with Rising 1st-5th grade)

Imagination Station Leader: Prepare and teach the Imagination Station lessons each day.  Imagination station is a hands-on interactive "sciency-fun" discovery station that helps reinforce the Bible Point for each day.  

Sticky Scripture Leader: Prepare and teach the Sticky Scripture lessons each day.  The Sticky Scripture station has various activities each day to help the students learn and understand our Bible verses.

Reef Rec Leader: Prepare and help lead the outdoor games station.  There are 3 different options for games each day.  These are faith-building games that are oceans of fun and help to reinforce the Bible Point for each day.  

Deep Bible Adventures Leader:  Prepare and teach the Bible Story lessons each day.  You will help the children explore God's word in unforgettable ways.  

Tidal Treats Snack Crew:  Help prepare and serve snacks to our children throughout the day.  

Station Leader Assistants:   Each of the above stations will need an assistant teacher to help facilitate the activities each day.  Assistants do not have to teach or prepare the lessons in advance. 

Elementary Crew Leader:  An adult volunteer who is responsible for a group (crew) of about 8 students.  Crew Leaders take their crews around to each station and help them to positiviely participate in the activitities.  Crew Leaders take time to get to know the students in their crew and help make sure they have a fin-tastic VBS experience.

Elementary Crew Assistant:  A youth volunteer who helps an Elementary Crew Leader with their crew.  Crew Assistants are expected to help the children in their crew to participate in all the activities and help make sure they have a fin-tastic VBS experience.  

Preschool Volunteer Positions (working with 3 & 4 year olds)

Exploration Station Leader:  Prepare and set up the free-choice exploration station  activities.  Lead kids as they discover and play each day.  

Bible Adventure Leader:  Prepare and teach the Bible Story each day.  

Preschool Games Leader:  Prepare and lead the games each day.  Preschool Games are held indoors.  

Sticky Scripture Preschool Leader:  Prepare and teach the activities that will help the preschoolers learn our Bible verse in fun and engaging ways.

Craft & Play Leader:  Prepare and lead the kids in a craft each day that helps to reinforce the Bible story & point.

Other Job Positions:

Photographer/Videographer:  Walk around and take pictures/videos each day to capture the memories of VBS.  No need for a special camera...can take pictures and videos on your cell phone and then share them with our VBS director at the end of each day.  


Registration/Check In:  Manage the registration/check in during VBS, including selling VBS resources (music/t-shirts).  This happens before VBS starts each day and at the end of the day.  


Decorating Committee: Are you artistic and creative? Prior to VBS we need volunteers to help decorate and create scenery to highlight our Scuba theme.


Child Care: Work in the nursery each day providing child care for our volunteers.
