COVID-19 Policy

In compliance with the new Italian government regulations, Circolo cameristico Piemontese requires a COVID-19 Green Certificate for participation in the 20th Chieri International Competition 2022.

We remind you that the COVID-19 Green Certificate makes it easier to travel to Italy; in order to enter Italy from Countries of the European Union and the Schengen area with the COVID-19 Green Certificate, travellers must meet one of the following conditions, as shown in the Certificate:

• have completed the prescribed anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination cycle

• or have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months 

• or have taken a molecular or antigen swab test within 48 hours prior to entering Italy with negative results.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the state of public health emergencies of international concern due to COVID-19.

We constantly and carefully monitor the Italian official directions made by the government and the regional health authorities.

 

We can only try to lessen the result of the total uncertainty that is typical of this period, by opting for a policy that aims to balance the protection of every interest.

 

Circolo Cameristico Piemontese, as organiser of 21th International Chieri Competition, has defined that:

-          Any quarantine period, actually in force in Italy for those arriving from abroad, must be managed by participants by themselves.

-          In case of lockdown in Italy, and thus, inability of travelling due to Italian government limitation, or in case of restrictions in the Piedmont region, we will post-pone the competition and maintain the already paid Membership fees; in case of participant unavailability in the new date we will refund 80% of the paid fee.

-          In case of Foreign governmental limitations we will give back 50% of the paid fee.

-          In case of positivity or quarantine isolation period of the enrolled competitor, against medical certification, we will refund the total membership fee.

-          In case of in case of contraction of COVID-19 or the presence of symptoms during the competition days, we ask for the most timely report to our offices, and foresee an isolation period according to the Italian measures for Coronavirus prevention.
