David & Gill Pearce

David Franklin Pearce was born 25.09.1944 in Leamington Spa. He lived in Lymington and attended Brockenhurst Grammar School. Read Physics at Birmingham University then moved to Bournemouth and worked out in the wilds of Dorset at Winfrith with the Atomic Energy Authority. He met Gill and they later moved to Cheltenham where David worked for Central Electricity Generating Board. He finally retired from Magnox Electric and now spends his time bird watching, writing articles and editing the local bird club magazine, playing tennis.

Gillian Nolder born Andover 25.02.1945. She attended Andover G S followed by Eastleigh Technical College. She had many different jobs in various places on the South Coast and Channel Islands finally ending up working for 13 years as PA to an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist. She always said she would keep working till she had grandchildren and so at the age of 65 finally retired when Emily was born on Christmas Day 2010. Now very busy with gardening and botanising. Also plays tennis, table tennis, badminton, swimming, dancing.
