Dr. Shubhangi Bansude works in the areas of turbulent combustion modeling, combustion chemical kinetics, and scientific machine learning, with an emphasis on large eddy simulation (LES). She was a postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory USA until January 2025. She earned her Ph.D. from the School of Mechanical Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Connecticut (UConn) in 2023. She received her B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar in 2014. Before her doctoral studies, she worked as an Application Engineer at Siemens PLM Software, contributing to advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solutions for the automotive and OEM industries. She also served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow in UConn’s School of Engineering and was awarded the prestigious General Electric Graduate Fellowship for Innovation.
