At Cedarbrae we are passionate about STEM education and we want YOU to be a part of Cedarbrae Collegiate innovation! By applying for our program you gain an opportunity to explore STEM the way you want through our math, science, technology, or kinesiology pathways. In grade nine you will have the unique opportunity of completing your science, English, and business credits in a combined three course package working collaboratively on projects that involve all three subjects. In grade ten,  you will continue to work on problem based tasks through English and science in addition to taking Digital Technology and Innovations in the Changing World.  In grade 11 and 12 you have the option to choose math, science, kinesiology and technology courses that appeal to your interests and allow you to apply the foundational skills developed in grade nine and ten.  The program culminates with the Equity and Social Justice course where students will apply research skills and will design and implement a social action initiative relating to an equity or social justice issue.   

Throughout your 4 years of the CCi program you will explore learning opportunities that include:

• Field trips

• Problem based learning

• Industry expert guest speakers

• Post secondary outreach

• Cross curricular classes

• Technology embedded learning

• Game based learning

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to investigate the world, weigh perspectives, communicate ideas, take action and apply disciplinary and interdisciplinary expertise in school and beyond.
