The Center for Education Innovation and Research (CEIR) in the College of Computing and Informatics at UNC Charlotte was established in 2013 as a focus for research in computer science education. The research and outreach projects include the development and study of innovations in pedagogy and technology in CS education, and research that broadens participation in computing. CEIR comprises an active community of faculty and graduate students involved in research and teaching practice that enables education innovation.
