康福中文學校由康郡福音教會創辦，成立於 1985 年，至今已有四十年的歷史。康福中文學校位於東灣康郡的核桃溪市(Walnut Creek of Contra Costa County in East Bay)。學校交通方便，距離 Walnut Creek BART 車站僅 1 英里。
康福中文學校主要服務於東灣 Contra Costa County 的 Walnut Creek、Concord、Martinez、Pleasant Hill、Danville、San Ramon、Lafayette、Orinda 和 Moraga 等城市和社區。康福中文學校的老師全部來自於教會，是信奉基督的兄弟姐妹，中國或美國的大學本科以上學歷。他們的教齡雖然各有不同，但都有一顆善良且愛護孩子的心。

教學方式：教室授課，加家庭作業相結合，上課時間：每週六上午9:00-12:30。中文學習時間：上午9:00-11:30。
同時，學校還開設課後興趣班，目前有乒乓球、籃球、畫畫。興趣班中午11:40-12:30。如想參加更多活動，教會有青少年合唱團、各種夏令營等等。學校還為家長們開設有太極拳學習，各種關於子女教育、中國文化和餐飲的講座。
康福中文學校的校曆和Walnut Creek學區相同。
PTA會在各種美國和中國的重大節日組織慶祝活動，例如復活節撿蛋、聖誕聯歡、春節聯歡，還會在家長的配合下組織很多家長之間的交流活動。
The CCGC Chinese School is established by Contra Costa Gospel Church (CCGC) in 1985, and has a history of forty years. The CCGC Chinese School is located in Walnut Creek of Contra Costa County in East Bay. The Chinese School is only one mile away from the Walnut Creek BART station.
The CCGC Chinese School mainly serves Walnut Creek, Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Danville, San Ramon, Lafayette, Orinda and Moraga in Contra Costa County in East Bay. The teachers at CCGC Chinese School all come from the CCGC church and are brothers and sisters who believe in Christ, with undergraduate or higher education degrees from China or the United States. Although their teaching experience varies, they all have a kind and caring heart for children, and very devoted in Chinese teaching.
The school's educational purpose is to teach children Chinese, help them understand Chinese culture, and foster—as well as sustain—their interest in learning Chinese language.
Currently, the school is divided into eight classes, with Pre-K through 7th grade as the basic classes and an AP (Advanced Placement) preparatory class. The basic classes currently use the new version (2020) textbook from Jinan University.
Teaching methods include classroom instruction combined with homework, class schedule: Saturday 9:00am - 12:30pm.
Additionally, the school offers after-school interest classes (from 11:40am to 12:30pm), including table tennis, basketball, and drawing. For those interested in more activities, the church provides opportunities such as a youth choir and various summer camps. The CCGC Chinese School also offers some activities for parents. E.g. Chinese Tai Ji, Seminars about children education, Chinese culture and foods.
The academic calendar for the CCGC Chinese School is the same as that of the Walnut Creek School District.
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) organizes celebratory events for significant American and Chinese holidays, such as Easter egg hunts, Christmas parties, and Chinese New Year celebrations. The PTA also coordinates many parent-to-parent exchange activities with the cooperation of parents.
